Rosebud Sioux (1890-1991) Photographed at age 8. Katie was the daughter of Louis Roubideaux, the official U.S. interpreter on the Rosebud Reservation in the late 1880's and at one time Captain of the Indian Police. Photographed by John A. Anderson, 1898. She is printed on a deer hide that is approximately 48"x32" .
